Take a break / public furniture

Take a break

Concept
This design is to provide hikers in mountainous areas a temporary sitting place. It is an innovative flexible railing that combines rails with clips. When an exhausted hiker leans against the railing, it will stretch out and provide a seat for the hiker.
Specification
When this design is not in use it looks like ordinary railings. When it is in use the temporary seat is stretched outward, so it will not interfere with the passage of other hikers. Besides being a back of the seat, the vertical part of the stretched railing safeguards the seated hiker from falling out.
