Ryuu / Egg Cup / Egg Cup

Ryuu / Egg Cup
Ryuu / Egg Cup

Ryuu is a Japanese word which means stream. It is an egg cup. The idea derived from Japanese waterspout and the form of western goblet. In this way,we can grasp the long leg of a goblet and then use the mouth of Japanese waterspout to scoop up an egg from boiling water conveniently. The egg cup incorporates a sense of combination of eastern culture and western culture. Moreover, I used bamboo to make it manually. The special shape of the egg cup can help us to take the egg out of boiling water more conveniently. And the hollow-out body can drain hot water that may flow down and then scald our hand, when we pick up the egg from the pot.
