SHI CHA / Teapot

The concept of this design derives from a Chinese tradition, in which bride should make tea and present it to elder generations at the wedding ceremony.
To give a tea pot as wedding gift implies that the bride is deeply blessed.
On the tea pot, graphics such as “double hearts” also represents the blessings of others to the couple.
The filter inside the pot is used to make the tea strong of light. The lid can be put against the hand without being place on table, which is considered unhygienic.
