The design combines the logo of the Olympics with plates, by arranging the five rings and bananas in the rings into different sizes, to represent the concept of the uneven food distribution in today’s world. This includes a black ring plate, representing Africa, with no food on it, which symbolizes that people in this region are suffering from hunger, and to appeal for the even distribution of food.
