Eva / Self Efficient Homefarm

Eva

Everyday, we dispose a large amount of organic waste which could be recycled on-site.
Eva is a connected self-contained biosphere homefarm that combines an aquaponic system powered by a compost generator.
One part of the waste is recycled to grow food and the other produces energy using Peltiers modules. The aquaponic system cuts the water use by 85% percent through recirculation of feedstock. Meanwhile, the composter is able to recycle up to 16kgs of organic waste per week. The energy obtained produces enough electricity to generate light source which stimulates the growth of the plants and to power the entire system.
