WiSS / a fitness - module for the ISS

The WiSS is a module for the International Space Station and its followers or other modular spacecrafts. The module uses centrifugal force to simulate gravity that solves the problems in space concerning degeneration of muscle strenght and skeletal failures. Coming back from space, people and their body have to be re-integrated on earth and existing gravity. Consequences of missing muscle strength, dizziness and balance disorders are usual at the moment. The body has to get back used to the new, stressful situation. To solve this problem, looking also to long term stays in space, WISS has been developed.
