We usually throw away the stump of a pencil ,because it is too short to hold. This design is aimed to solve this problem by applying the mortise and tenon structure (A concave-convex connection mode of timber components in the ancient Chinese architecture) to the traditional pencil.This structure can tightly connect two pencils together. Taking advantage of the characteristics of hexagon structure, we can avoid the potential risk in the usage and can also make the process much easier.
