In order to enable hand handicapped people to ride easier and safer on public transportation, a brand new type of bus bell is developed to fulfill their needs. Normally the existing bells are set next to bus windows or on the rods about 140cm height. It is hard for hand handicapped people to approach. Instead of pressing the bell by hands, the new bell is designed to be pushed by users’ knees. The design provides an inclusive solution for both handicapped and normal people.
