As a result of a brand development strategy, Weber is now well on its way to become a cult brand in Germany as well. The campaign for 2013 features a completely new brand image. “Viel mehr als einfach nur…” (“Much more than simply…”) is the theme of the campaign Weber is using to express its approach to the worlds of BBQ and pleasure. In its TV ad the message is reduced to its most essential elements: hot coals, a grill rack and a premium T-bone steak are showcased using highly effective macro and slow-motion shots. What we’re dealing with here is much more than simply a piece of meat – much more than just a grill.
