Twelve-member boy group, EXO, is separated into two subgroups; each comprising of six members: EXO-K performing in Korea and EXO-M in China. The name EXO is derived from EXOPLANET, a term denoting to planets outside of the Solar System. Based on concept of a birth of outer planets, a simple shape was used to represent EXO’s logo. The hexagonal logo is creative, yet quite simple to express the letters “E, X, O”. The font is also made with the same flow. EXO logo is not only a primary form of a hexagon, but it is flexible that it can be applied to other forms such as a “circle” and a “heart”. The logo can also be expressed in various concepts.
