The Ohmic cooker uses the resistance heating method. It passes an alternating current through food, and takes advantage of the food's resistance to generate heat and cook the food. Compared with traditional boiling, it heats food evenly, needs only one-sixth of the cooking time, and consumes little energy. It is also easy to operate ‒ just press a button to start cooking. The square, upright shape of the Ohmic cooker saves space and makes it easy to keep in your kitchen. The metal outer frame provides great sturdiness, and the transparent inner container makes it simple to mix and add ingredients, giving the cooker a distinctive stylistic touch.
