A complete redesign, the second generation of the Lufthansa iPhone app offers passengers a new gateway to the airline’s mobile services and information. All the key items are right on the home screen, and a simple swipe gesture instantly opens more items in the side panel. With “My Services”, for instance, users can directly access the boarding passes they have stored online. Push notifications keep passengers up to date on any changes to the status of selected flights. Also new is the design of the current Lufthansa offers: users can quickly browse by swiping, follow links to their own bookings, and get great travel tips.
