Monoglow / Handlebars

Monoglow

Monoglow is a modular, aluminium handlebar designed to improve the safety of cyclists in urban environments. Traditionally, cyclists must dangerously use hand indications and glance around; taking their eyes off the roads. The indication system uses strong, blinking LEDs housed in translucent tubing to radially signal motorists, and are easily activated by thumb push buttons located in cut outs in the bar. These are powered by batteries and removed via the end caps. The mirrors are integrated into the minimalist design and can be rotated to suit the user's viewing angle; unlike existing products which ruin the aesthetics and can be stolen.
