"Spiegelgrund" Oper / stage design

"Spiegelgrund" Oper
"Spiegelgrund" Oper

The historical background to the opera with countless injured, broken children and the venue in the high-bay warehouse of the former tobacco factory in Linz, form the main aspects for the design of a worthy frame for the stage. A strong dominance, due to generous proportions and the vast silence of the self- black colored dress of the inner hall, calls for a stage solution which corresponds directly with the found space parameters. In this clash of black and white, straight and broken, creates a platform to demonstrate and exercise extreme stress fields. A free-flowing course between stage, auditorium and hall offers visitors a new experience
