ILSE / Walker

Getting up from low seat heights (toilets, park benches or sofas) can be quite challenging for seniors. ILSE is a walker combined with an electronic system to help the user face this problem: The handles, which are normally used to push the walker, can be lowered down to knee-height, offering the optimal support to push yourself up from your seat. Two electronic motors support the user during this process of standing up.

Used this way the walker becomes even more an orthosis: Compensating physical limitations of the musculoskeletal system not just while walking but throughout the entire day!
