Aiming to present the latest décor pattern trends to an international audience, the design of this book focuses on staging contrasts and thus manages to surprise its readers. The creative slogan of the commissioning company Interprint – “Living in Contrasts” – is presented visually, haptically and verbally as a world full of opposites. Décor patterns are displayed side by side with informative texts, while the overall contrast-rich design approach lends an emotional appeal to the patterns, colors and textures of wood, concrete, stone and other building materials.
