Together with business consultancy McKinsey, Siemens has developed a study for Germany's energy transition. 20 carefully selected international example cases were probed according to the value-added chain as to whether these projects are relevant to electric power supply, cost-effectiveness and environmental safety within Germany. With this study overseen academically by McKinsey, the hurdles of implementation become visible and approaches to overcome them are displayed.
