The 10/13 cover of novum magazine, one of the leading international design publications, presents its main theme “typography“ by showing an example of filigree type never seen before in magazine publishing. Clormann Design, a design agency located in the West of Munich, Germany, created the cover using laser technology in order to optically as well as haptically communicate the message „Be bold, be light, be italic but never be regular“. The cover’s inner page sparkles through the black letters’ gaps in a copper tone with small letters underlining the high-quality look of this overall well-made finishing.
