Current social trends like urbanization and new ways of organizing work have an enormous impact on the leisure behavior and thus on the use of outdoor sports goods. Starting by analyzing the general urbanization trends it turned out that urban- and outdoor-experiences are more and more converging in many fields.
This development creates the need for products providing functionality in both worlds - urban and outdoor. In order to serve this need, the concept Fuse resulted in outdoor products which can be integrated in every day life by offering a secondary function while not in outdoor use.
