DDC / Diametrical drafting compass

With conventional drafting compasses if you want to draw a circle with 6.5cm diameter you should convert it to radius and draw a circle with 3.25cm of radius which is hard to adjust the drafting compass precisely on a ruler specially that 0.25cm bit. But with DDC and the dimensions on its pillar, ruler is not needed and you can draw circles faster in diameters with the help of two pencils concurrently to save the time. The main benefit of DDC is drawing circles in diameter. Circles will be more precise using oblique which can be pulled out from the compass if it is not practical at the time.
