Wind tower

This project tries to address the issue of sustainability and ecological footprint in UAE. Air conditioning systems in the country account for most of buildings' energy consumption. Not very long time ago in Bastakiya region of city of Dubai, buildings were using natural air conditioning system through use of wind towers. The wind coming from the north were caught and brought to the house. This project reintroduces use of wind tower along side with lattice work and shaders to residential units in order to reduce buildings' energy consumption and ecological footprint.
