A roadblock can give a hint to the pedestrians and vehicles around a construction site. However, sometimes it may be blown away when the wind is strong; sometimes, the roadblock is not conspicuous enough to catch the attention of everyone. In order to tackle the problems, I revised the traditional roadblock by adding a LED inside it and a layer of rubber on the bottom. The LED can cast red light and form an alerting area which reads “STOP”. The size of the area can be adjusted by rotating the knob on the top. The weight of the rubber on the bottom keeps the roadblock stable all the time. Thus, it eliminates danger and ensures safety.
