Straw Incense / Incense

Straw Incense
Straw Incense

Burning incense to worship god is an important tradition in Chinese Culture. People believe that smoke can send their wishes and respects to another world. However, burning incense will generate a great amount of exhaust, which might result in air pollution. Is there any solution to have the best of both worlds?

According to the observation, we found that the farmers compress straw into blocks for burning. We decided to integrate these two common features: “born to be burned” and “replacing the bamboo (the core of incense) with the straw.” In fact, burning Straw Incense is making natural fertilizers and reduce the amount of air pollution.
