A paper cup of hot coffee will cool down and lose its flavor soon after it is left alone on a table.
The pad is made of thermal material capable to keep a high temperature of 50 C.
As soon as its outer membrane is peeled off, the thermal material exposed to the air will heat up.
With a paper cup stuck by double-side tap on its bottom, the pad conducts the heat onto the cup.
