Smartphones are everywhere now, and their use is so ubiquitous that some governments have prohibited their use while walking on city streets. However, the prolonged repetitive usage of smartphones, just as in the cause of carpal tunnel syndrome, may cause physical discomfort. This smartphone cover design shows users many different ways to hold the phone while in use. The variation allows users to break the repetitive use of a particular group of muscles, resulting in some relief of discomfort. As they wish, these gestures may also be used as a silent means of communication among this generation of smartphone users.
