ColorMe / communication design

ColorMe
ColorMe

People with Color Vision Deficiencies (CVD) account for about 8% of the world population, which is a relatively high percentage compared to other defectives. In spite of lacking perception on certain colors, people with CVD can rely on shapes or textures to distinguish colors. ColorMe visualizes the confused colors with shapes or textures, and brings up memories by retrieving images with the same color. ColorMe utilizes the camera of smart phones combining with image processing and augmented reality technologies, build up a easy to use system that helps people with CVD.
