Women's Rights

The oppression of women in islam is a serious issue. For this reason I decided to work on these topics. My aim is to focus attention on violence against women. I worked on topics like oppression, isolation, forced marriage, torture, rape, lapidation, acid throwing, death penalty and female
genital mutilation.
In my work, flowers are a symbol for womankind. Flowers are also a symbol for innocence and love. But the flower gets destroyed by foreign interferences. The flower gets manipulated by others. So the modification on the flower is even a modification on the woman. It was also important to perform the photographic realization by myself.
