The earthquake is a global issue. However, the large quake-hit area and piles of debris makes it hard for the traditional way of life searching and rescuing due to its limited range of detection.

Dropped by the helicopter, hundreds of the SO-NET units could weave a wireless sensory net to search for life. The apparatus at three vertexes could locate the survival inside the triangle by his/her ID card through Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, and then instruct the rescue workers to save their life immediately by flashing its indicator light, pointing the location with laser and sending message to the hand-holding terminals.
