Invisible Country / Invisible Country

Invisible Country

A flag symbolizes the spirit and history of a country. Due to the strained relationship with Mainland China, The status of Taiwan is ambiguous in the worldwide. We cannot use our name, national anthem, and the original flag. Therefore, the flag was reconstructed from three original colors, which are red, blue and white in this poster. There is a symbol of the sun on the upper- right corner, which is sewn. I tried to convey that our flag is always hidden, but the spirit is indelible. I sewed the sun not only because the flag is made of fabric, but also represents the determination of the people.
