Fuge no.1 is an architectural design project that responds to the environment and strengthens the identity of the increasingly endangered, villages in Thuringia. From the urban planning concept to the detail the idea of the design project is to take up traditional designs and further taking them into modern, ecological aspects. The buildings made of stone and wood intertwine. The gap of both materials is made visible from detail to space. Plastic is avoided.
On the one hand the innovation of the design project is the development of new architectural details, on the other hand the stabilisation of the region in order to prevent further drift.
