Bamboo Slip Chair / Furniture

Bamboo Slip Chair
Bamboo Slip Chair

Tian-xiang Wen, a famous poet lived in Chinese Song Dynasty, wrote the “Passing by Lingdingyang” to express patriotic emotion.
The Neo-Chinese Song Chair is transformed by a semantics-based exploration from this poetry with the imagery of bamboo-made writing slips and the officer cap in Song. Using traditional and unique crafts technique in Taiwan, this chair is formed by bending bamboos with sturdy flexibility to achieve the artistic conception of a modern design work.
