With the increase in the range and frequency of elevators, accidents occur frequently and lead to serious consequences.
Our design aims at preventing elevator from falling in order to avoid tragedy.
When the elevator is out of control, the falling speed becomes more than 4m/s. the speed induction device is activated, and The air bag which is around the outer wall of elevator is immediately inflated and joints with elevator shaft completely. In this way, the air bag seals the space between car bottom and the elevator shaft. Through the compressed air resistance, the speed decreases gradually until the elevator achieves stationary state.
