stromlinie 75 / automotive concept

stromlinie 75
stromlinie 75

This concept is a modern interpretation of the 1937 Auto Union Typ C Stromlinie record car - a vision of an homage of the audi brand to the famous 'Silver Arrows' Grand Prix motor racing cars of the 1930s. 75 years after the originals premier at Avus, when Bernd Rosemeyer took the car to a speed of 380 km/h (236 mph) on the straights, the redesign connects the remarkable proportions with typical elements of the contemporary Audi design language. Just imagine a new "Silver Arrow" to set up electric-powered speed records..
