This inspiring compendium documents a variety of hobbies that, for many people, may even constitute the meaning of life.
The book’s visual concept is based on the idea of introducing hobbies to the reader by using everyday objects. For example, under the topic “bird watching” a kettle stands for a bird, or a cauliflower represents a planet under the topic “astronomy”.
A “hobby generator” in the front cover, illustrated interviews and, last but not least, the confident design, featuring an exposed thread binding, all allow the reader to experience the subject’s great variety.
