Bamboo Weaving Chair / Chair

Bamboo Weaving Chair

The bamboo scoop and the broom are two appliances of traditional culture that symbolized the meaning of thrifty, which could represent the early life of Taiwan appropriately. Though bamboo scoops and brooms were worthless within modern people’s vision, there are invisible values behind them - skills and handcrafts. Therefore, we take same skills and materials, transform and reinterpret them into a chair. Not only to reproduce the countryside culture into modern life, but to keep the heritage of skills and crafts.
