Blind Guide
Blind Guide is a guiding device attached to an existing blind cane. A visually impaired person can grasp the Guide; the ball in the device rotates in his/her palm for direction guiding. The closer the device is approaching an obstacle, the more the ball rotates toward the opposite direction. The ball then stops guiding when it is very close to the obstacle to avoid interfere with the user’s movement. Blind Guide uses Doppler radar technology to analyze the distance between the device and obstacles, and can be deactivated and detached from the cane according to users’ needs.
