When fire occurs, people often run into the fire due to panic or result in a blast because of air rushing in from opened doors. This door handle is made of memory alloys and designed based on its stretchable characteristic due to an outside temperature change. When a fire occurs on the other side of the door and the temperature has reached a certain level, the link inside the handle, which is made of memory alloy, will shorten and disengage. The door can't be opened. When the fire fighters arrive, they only need to lower the temperature of the handle with water, the memory alloy will then return to original status and the soft handle can open
