Spam is normally tightly stuck to the tin wall so it is not easy to take it out. Some people poke the sides of the spam with a knife or heat up the tin to take spam out. These methods however can be dangerous.
To overcome this issue, we designed the tap of a tin to be connected to the side and so the mouth of the tin becomes wider. This design creates two faces: one to grab and lift a spam tin and another to take spam out. You can easily take spam out with kitchen utensils such as a knife, a spoon or chopsticks.
