Adhesive capsulitis, also called frozen shoulder, is a disorder in which the shoulder capsule, the connective tissue surrounding the glenohumeral joint of the shoulder, becomes inflamed and stiff, greatly restricting motion and causing chronic pain. This equipment is designed for those patients with adhesive capsulitis symptom to rehabilitate at home. Looks like a shelf, this wall-mounted equipment can be rotated upward. Patients can grasp the bar and swing their arms forward and backward. Patients can also ladder their fingers upward and downward along edges of the bar when it is fixed vertically.
