One-off wooden chopsticks are consumed at an increasing rate among many Asian countries. This is at the expense of excessive consumption of wood and overuse of outside packaging including paper and plastic.
The design of these neo-chopsticks highlights its function of being both chopsticks and its packaging at the same time. It not only saves more wood resources, but also packaging materials and transportation capacity compared to the conventional disposable chopsticks.
