Bebedouro Guanabara / Urban Furniture

Bebedouro Guanabara
Bebedouro Guanabara

The Guanabara drinking fountain provides clean and fresh water. It was designed to be placed in external environments at Rio 2016™ Olympic Games, and the special focus in its project is that it attends to different kinds of people, biotypes and special needs. Its formal inspiration comes from Pão de Açúcar (one of the most important touristic points in Rio) making it look monumental and with a symbolic value. Guanabara doesn’t use electricity and is planned to reuse the water that goes down the drain. The external surface is made of Corian®, that makes it beautiful, pleasant to touch, cleaner, elevates its quality and fits perfectly outdoors.
