Bradley Timepiece / Tactile Wristwatch

Bradley Timepiece
Bradley Timepiece

The Bradley Timepiece was designed in collaboration with the visually impaired. Worn like any other wristwatch, The Bradley can be both seen and felt to know what time it is. The timepiece is named after Lt. Brad Snyder who, with many other visually impaired users, provided invaluable feedback and testing. An ex-Navy Seal blinded in Afghanistan, Brad voiced the need for a well-designed tactile watch throughout project development. The Bradley makes day-to-day life possible without drawing attention to disability. It also offers a unique and discrete way of telling time—whether in a business meeting, social luncheon, or dark theater.
