If a city is hit by a severe storm, the large amounts of rain water often have nowhere to go. Underground parking garages are usually the first places to have a problem. Even though they are normally equipped with a good drainage system, sometimes it just doesn’t do the job. This idea combines the speed bump, which is located at the entrance of the underground parking garage, with a water-retaining device. To help the drainage system work better, this device prevents the water from entering the underground parking too quickly and reduces the burden on the system.
