Oil-eating Float / Float

Oil-eating Float
Oil-eating Float

1. Many bacteria in the ocean are capable of breaking down the chemicals found in crude oil. As a result, oil-eating bacteria play an important role in solving oil-spill problems.
2. We provide nutrition that the oil-eating bacteria need, such as Nitrogen (N2) and Phosphorus (P) to help them grow more quickly.
3. We use PLA (poly lactic acid) to make containers which carry nutrition for bacteria inside, and float them on the ocean. PLA will later on decompose into water and carbon dioxide in the ocean by itself.
