I wanted to conceptualize an environmentally-friendly cell-phone for this competition. The phone I came up with is created from "polyethylene terephthalate," a type of plastic common found in items such as water bottles. The idea was for my phone to be created from this recycled plastic and have a reduced impact on the environment we live in. The design of the phone was based around a touch-screen device. It features a large, colorful display, a front and back facing camera, physical buttons located at the bottom of the front, a headphone jack from hooking up earphones and many more features evident in its hardware design.
