kilimanjaro2022 / glass

kilimanjaro2022
kilimanjaro2022

The snows of Kilimanjaro; Africa's highest peak; are rapidly disappearing and will be gone between 2022 and 2033. This glass tries to narrate the story of future water shortage because of disappearing snows of Kilimanjaro in response to global warming. While one drinks from this glass, it looks like the mountaintop of the Kilimanjaro! Also the outer shape resembles an upside down glass which from the inner of its form, another glass comes out. The inner glass is like the classical shape of glass for drinking water .Someday ,maybe between 2022 and 2033,the water resources of Kilimanjaro will be drunk like the water in a glass.
