交趾陶花器
交趾陶花器

The traditional craft of Koji Pottery originated from the southern Chiayi County has a history of more than a century. It is a very important culture asset of Taiwan, but now is facing a problem of that not many are interested in passing the tradition down to future generations.
In order to continue the tradition, this series of vases featuring main characteristics of Koji Pottery as well as auspicious animals is designed in a comical way with the aims to arouse people’s attention to local culture. The requirements of modern people for aesthetics are also taken into this artistic work.
