A conventional lifebuoy weighs up to 2.5kg. Rescuers have trouble running with the buoy. It is tough to aim and throw a conventional lifebuoy accurately to a drowning victim. Rescue is only efficient at approximately 10meters.
Life Rescue, a compacted and lightweight water rescue equipment enables a more efficient and effective water rescue up to 20meters. Upon landing on water, dissolving pill within the mechanism triggers firing of pin towards the gas cylinder; which in turns inflates the compacted inflatable buoy that is wrapped around the handle.
It is suitable to be used by both the experienced lifeguards and inexperienced passersby.
