We are living in the high-tech society. The rapid development of the technology has actualized diverse types of lightings around us including LED, OLED, etc. This change has actually enabled us many things, but on the other hand, it has also increased our environmental apathy. “Touch” is a playful lighting that built with bioluminescent algae (dinoflagellates). This planktonic algae has a unique character that it glows and creates bright blue sparkles when it gets disturbed. Contrast to the past lightings, it doesn’t depend on electrical bulbs. “Touch” suggests closer approach to our nature.
