Das Kant Regal / Furniture

Das Kant Regal
Das Kant Regal

Das Kant Regal is a shelf made of welded metal stripes. It is based on a constructivist and multi-stable concept. It can be used in 4 different positions and allows a variety of combinations when using more shelfs together.
Multi-stability fits a current cultural change. An urge of freedom and individuality, where the owner of the shelf can change the look of a ambient by changing its position. It was inspired by the Wassily Chair. Characteristics such as material and the 90 degrees angles where important for the design process. Also, its constructivist structure lets the user to explore it and find his own displaying solutions.
